Claude, the AI assistant by Anthropic, has just launched some exciting new offerings — a Teams subscription plan and a slick iOS app. Let’s dive in and see what they’re all about!

Anthropic Claude

🌟 New Teams Subscription

The new Teams plan builds on the existing Free and Pro subscriptions:

The Teams plan is ideal for companies who want to empower their whole staff with AI assistance. Beyond the Pro features, it adds:

  • Centralized billing and account administration
  • Early access to collaboration features like shared conversations
  • A minimum of 5 team members

So if you’ve got a team eager to leverage Claude’s intelligence, the new Teams plan is the way to go. The per-user price is a bit higher than Pro, but the additional admin controls and upcoming collab features will be well worth it.

Anthropic has also rolled out an iOS app that puts Claude right in your pocket. It’s a game-changer for getting AI assistance on the go. The key features include:

  1. Instant answers — Just start a chat, send a photo, or attach a file, and Claude will provide intelligent responses.
  2. Faster deep work — Make significant progress on critical tasks and complex problems while mobile. Perfect for commutes or travel.
  3. Streamlined busywork — Get help drafting emails, summarizing meetings, and tackling small tasks you’d rather offload.
  4. Fingertip intelligence — Tap into knowledge on any subject, powered by the advanced Claude 3 models.
  5. Trusted partnership — Count on Claude’s reliability and Anthropic’s commitment to safe, dependable AI.

The app is free, with an optional in-app purchase to upgrade to the Pro plan for 5x usage and access to the most powerful model, Claude 3 Opus.

Let’s put it to the test.

Original Image:

Chevrolet Corvette & Baby Theodore

Claude’s response contained some critical inaccuracies. Firstly, it misidentified the make and model of the car, which is actually a Chevrolet Corvette, but Claude incorrectly labeled it as a Porsche. Secondly, and more crucially, it incorrectly stated the location of the driver’s side (I am in the USA), which would only be accurate if the image were taken in a country like the United Kingdom.

While this feature is entertaining, it demonstrates that there is still significant progress to be made before it can consistently provide accurate information, especially when it comes to identifying specific vehicle makes and models.

🎉 Get Started

Ready to dive in yourself? Download the iOS app and give it a spin. For teams, check out the subscription page for more details and to get started.

With these powerful new tools in hand, you’ll be amazed at how much more you can accomplish with a little help from Claude. Have fun and let me know what you create!
